8.711. Funerary fragment for Kapitoleinos

Description: Piece from the top of a white marble block (w: 0.27 × h: 0.20 × d: 0.09). The face slopes backwards at the top; it is probably, therefore, part of a sarcophagus front.

Text: Inscribed on the face.

Letters: Irregular: lines 1-2, 0.018; lines 3, 5-8, 0.02; l.4, 0.02-0.023; line 9 not measurable.
