Description: Six fragments of chest and lid of a marble sarcophagus lid. The two largest fragments (c and d) preserve part of the chest with laurel-leaf moulding along the bottom and the curling end of a ribbon and a small grape cluster: c: w: 0.57 × h: 0.26 × d: 0.46; d: w: 0.26 × h: 0.20 × d: 0.64.
Text: Inscribed a and b on the lower edge of the lid, b line 3 on the bosses; c and d on the lower edge of the body.

(c and d): [---] no one shall have authorization to bury someone in the sarcophagus or to remove a body, for whoever does this will be impious and cursed and a tomb-robber and will pay in addition to this for statues of the emperors 6,000 silver denarii, of which one-third shall belong to the vindicator.
