12.649. Honours for M. Aur. Cl. Ant. Dioskoros

Description: Moulded base capital with a circular feature on top on which feet marks are visible for the statue (bronze); there is a short area of plain base below (w: 0.87–0.59 × h: 0.40 × d: 0.83).

Text: Inscribed on four fasciae and one curved surface of the moulding and on the face below; both upper corners are chipped away, and the surface is damaged in many places.

Letters: Ave. 0.02; abbreviation marks.

Date: Second to third centuries CE (lettering, nomenclature)
