Translation

[e.g. the city honoured ...] so-and-so] son of Tryphon, the son of Tryphon the son of Zenon (son of Zenon son of Zenon) son of Chrysippos son of Aeneas, a man notable for his good birth and dignified character; he lived in an orderly and modest way, so as to provide a model of virtue, and was praised for the liturgies and magistracies which he carried out with generosity. Aurelius Tryphon his father set (this) up.
