. . . the Council and the People . . . decreed to honour . . . praise . . . and crown him . . . and to erect ] an image of
bronze in the Agora and [another one painted] in the sanctuary of Ares, carrying this inscription: The People has honoured
[?Per]itas son of Adrastos, priest of Ares, a fine and good man, with praise, a golden crown, an image of bronze, another
one painted, and a front seat at the contests, for his excellence and for his continual benevolence to the whole people: and
to erect a marble stele in the sanctuary of Ares on [which] this decree shall be inscribed.
