Description: A loose block (w: 0.49 × h: 0.72 × d: 0.33), whose upper left corner is lost. The face is smooth except for a rough rectangular area between i and ii. The upper and lower edges are drafted

Text: i: at upper edge of block; ii: across lower part of block.

Letters: i. rough and badly aligned, but deeply cut; lunate; 0.03-0.04. ii: Standard forms, lightly cut, irregular, and badly aligned. Several letters in line 1 are cut with a double outline; 0.035-0.04

Findspot: Aphrodisias: Theatre: stage, skene frons, fifth stage room from north, loose; the block originally formed part of the north wall of the doorway to Room 5, further in than 8.18 and 8.19

One of the group of inscriptions, apparently by performers, at the doorways of the rooms on the stage front: 8.8, 8.9, 8.104, 8.15, 8.16, 8.17, 8.18, 8.19, 8.20, 8.21, 8.22. .
