Description: White marble statue base in three elements. Multi tiered upper plinth: w: 0.95 × h: 0.35 × d: 0.85; shaft with moulding on all four sides: w: 0.565 × h: 1.31 × d: 0.565; multi-tiered lower plinth: w: 0.92 × h: 0.35 × d: 0.90. The statue survives.

Text: Inscribed on one fascia of the upper plinth (line 1) and on the shaft.

Letters: Standard second-third century forms0.035. Small circles for stops after each of the abbreviated names in lines 2 and 13, and before the first name in line 13.

His fatherland (honoured) L(ucius) Ant(onius) Cl(audius) Dometeinos Diogenes, law-giver, father and grandfather of senatorials. Tib(erius) Cl(audius) Ktesias the elder supervised the erection of the statue and himself had the altar made for him, and the other features beside, himself.

The fatherland (honors) Lucius Antonius Claudius Dometeinus Diogenes, the law-giver, father and grandfather of Roman senators. The setting-up of the statue was seen to by Tiberius Claudius Ktesias the Elder, who also made the base "altar" (bomon: lit.) for it. together with what remained, at his own expense.
