16.160. Epitaph for Onesimos and Athenagoras

Description: White marble panel, with raised edge surviving on the right side, which has been turned 90 degrees and cut down to form a Turkish tombstone (w: 0.565 × h: 0.32 × d: 0.095).

Text: Inscribed on the face which has traces suggesting an earlier inscription.

Letters: Cursive, irregular and roughly cut; lunate sigma, epsilon, omega; 0.015 (o)-0.03.

Date: First- third century CE (lettering)

Findspot: Antiocheia: brought by villagers
