15.358. Funerary inscription for Epiphanios, bull-rearer

Description: A white marble panel (w: 0.34 × h: 0.46 × d: 0.13) with worn edges; only the right side survives intact. A groove has been cut in the back. For a full description see Kontokosta (2008).

Text: Inscribed on the face.

Letters: lunate, irregular, but carefully cut, av. 0.03.

Date: Probably fifth/sixth century. (lettering)

Findspot: Aphrodisias: Stray.

Original location: Unknown.
