Τροφίμου εἰς ἣν τέθαπται Μᾶρ(κος) Αὐ(ρήλιος) Εὔτυχος ὁ ἀναθρεψά-
μενος αὐτὸν καὶ οὓς ἂν βουληθῇ ὁ Ζ̣ήνω̣ν ἐὰν δέ τις
ἐκθάψει τὸν Εὔτυχον ἢ ἕτερον ἐνθάψει χωρὶς τῆς γνώμης

The burial niche eisostē belongs to Marcus Aurelius Zenon, son of Turbo, son of Trophimus; in it has been buried Marcus Aurelius Eutychos, the one
who reared him, and (scil. shall be buried) whomever Zenon may wish. If anyone should exhume Eutychos, or bury another (scil. person) without the consent of Zenon, the person who does such a thing shall pay to the most sacred treasury (i.e. the Roman
imperial fiscus) one thousand silver denarii, of which one-third shall belong to the person who prosecutes [the case]. A copy
of the inscription was deposited in the property-archive of the Aphrodisians during the fifth stephanephorate of Titus Flavius
Chaireas, in the month of Xandikos.
