Text: Inscribed on one face; the text must have begun on a crowning feature.

Letters: lines 1-11, 0.025; lines 12-20, 0.015.

Date: A.D. 253-260 (content)

Findspot: Aphrodisias: Walls, South (east part): reused in the section excavated in 1975.

[The Council and the] People (scil. have honoured) Marcus Aurelius Diogenes, legatus Augustorum pro praetore, he (scil. who is) just, and decent, and brave, and adorned with every virtue; the most worthy Antonius Neikomachos, father of the first archon Antonius Claudius Neikomachos, offspring of high-priests, supervised the erection (scil. of the monument).
