11.105. Dedication by Kallikles son of Kallikles via his brother Molossos

Description: Upper part of a plain white marble base (w: 0.43 × h: 0.47 × d: 0.50); there are traces of a groove along the top.

Text: Inscribed on the visible face; chipped along the right and broken away below. The text must have begun on a lost block or capital above.

Letters: Probably second century CE; 0.025; some letters at the right side are condensed; diaeretic dots on either side of Η in lines 2, 6 and Υ in lines 4, 10.

Date: Second century CE (lettering)

Findspot: Aphrodisias: City, North-East: re-used in a field wall north of the Tetrapylon
