Description: Left corner block of a white marble architrave block broken on all sides (w: 0.695 × h: 0.30 × d: 0.60).

Text: Inscribed on two fasciae.

Letters: Line 1, 0.05; line 2, 0.045.

Date: First century CE (lettering)

Findspot: Aphrodisias: Bouleuterion/Odeon, East Area: 'East Odeon complex, East path, at -0.75' (depth).

Commentary

The probability is that this is from the dedication of a building to the goddess; given the layout it is unlikely that she was herself credited with the building, although that is possible, as in 12.914 (=CIG 2749).
