. . . and so that] the Demos [of the Pluareis may appear to be grateful] and bestow [worthy favours upon ]good men, it has
been decreed [by the Council and the People], with the validation of this decree, [to praise] Agroitas, son of Kallikrates,
for his [virtue] and the goodwill he continuously holds toward the Demos of the Pluareis; and to give him and his descendants
citizenship and a share in all things in which the other citizens also share; and to crown him in the assembly with a branch
of olive; and to invite him to a guest-dinner at the Prytaneion; and, so that the people of Gordioteichos may know what effort
the Demos of the Pluareis is making on behalf of worthy men, to choose one ambassador from among all the citizens. The man
chosen, having arrived at Gordioteichos, is to deliver the decree and, having gone before the assembly, is to praise the Gordioteichitai
for the goodwill they have toward [the Demos of the Pluareis] and for the good and virtuous man [ . .. ] to send [ . . . ]
