Text: Inscribed on the upper mouldings (lines 1-2) and within the front panel (die, w: 0.34 × h: 0.94).

Letters: Second-third century; line 1, 0.015; line 2, 0.025; lines 3 ff., 0.02. The lettering impinges on the moulding at several points (lines 5, 7, 16, 24).

. . . ]son (or descendant) of Zopyros the son of Apollonios the son of Chares, priest of the god Hephaistos, a man who loved his country and performed all magistracies and public services for his country with distinction and also gave oil annually on the birthday of the god Hephaistos, moreover provided for the eminent city-council the sum of 2,500 old silver denarii for the provision of perpetual distributions, as in all his arrangements carried out in a notable and generous manner, and that the eminent city-council and the people thought him deserving of honours and the erection of statues and images and of praises appropriate to his worthiness and policy.
