1.13. Prayer of donors, including Theodoretos and Kyriakos

Description: Seven blue-grey marble fragments, h: 0.16 × d: 0.20 from the crowning feature of a balustrade: the top is smooth; one side has a moulded profile, the other is smooth, tapering inwards. The underside has been left rough. Resembles 1.12, 1.14, 1.15, 1.16. a: three joining pieces, total w: 0.29; b: three joining pieces, total w: 0.30; c: w: 0.11.

Text: Inscribed in one line on upper fascia of moulded profile.

Letters: 0.025; elongated.

Date: Fifth to sixth centuries. (location, lettering)

Findspot: Aphrodisias: Temple/Church: six fragments in Sector T.XV, one stray find.

Original location: Temple/Church: ?crowning the bema/chancel barrier.
