Description: Two fragments, broken at both ends of a white marble architrave block with two fasciae, with a decoration on the underside of whorls and diamonds: a: broken on all sides, both fasciae surviving, w: 0.48 × h: 0.33 × d: 0.68; b: broken on all sides, lower fascia surviving, w: 0.145 × h: 0.19 × d: 0.21.

Text: Inscribed a on both fasciae (upper 0.135, lower 0.105; b on one fascia

Letters: Ornate with large serifs, open bowled rho; upper line 0.085-0.095; lower line 0.085; similar lettering to 6.5, but not identical, and on a different monument.

Date: Fourth-sixth century CE (lettering)

Findspot: Aphrodisias: Place of Palms/South Agora, North portico
