15.349. Epitaph of Zoetos

Description: A rectangular white marble stele, with a simply moulded panel on the front face, supporting a rougly cut hemisphere, apparently cut down to serve as a Moslem tombstone: w: 0.70 × h: 0.35 × d: 0.325.

Text: Inscribed within the panel (w: 0.35 × h: 0.23) which is chipped to the right.

Letters: Rough and irregular, 0.02-0.025.

Date: Fourth century or later. (content)
