Description: Fragment from the upper part of a marble sarcophagus lid, with one of the projections (w: 0.27 × h: 0.17 × d: 0.15); projection complete, but lid broken both to left and right.

Text: Inscribed in two hands, a. on projection; b. along upper edge..

Letters: a. 0.06-0.07; small Ι inside Σ; the possibility that this is an elaborate serif should perhaps be noted. b. uneven and poorly cut letters; square sigma; 0.02-0.025.

Date: a. First century BCE; b. probably third century CE (lettering)
