11.307. Funerary verse

Description: White marble building block without moulding (w: 0.948 × h: 0.27 × d: 0.36), broken below and at the right end; surface damaged at lower left corner.

Text: Lightly inscribed on a roughly dressed surface, worn all over. The text certainly began on a block above.

Letters: Non-monumental, hand designed eithout ruler or compass; cursive sigma, epsilon, omega. Perhaps second century CE; 0.015-2.0.
