Description: White marble statue base shaft with simple moulding above and below w: 0.72 × h: 0.45 × d: 0.555.

Text: Inscribed on the upper moulding (line 1), and on the face which has been badly damaged above

Letters: 0.035 - 0.04; simple lettering, not very deeply cut

Date: 89-96 CE (reign, titulature)

Findspot: Aphrodisias: Theatre, stage, Porta Regia North.

[The Emperor Caesar] Domitian Augustus Germanicus, unconquered. The people dedicated (scil. his statue); Menippos son of Menippos, natural son of Adra[s]tos, was responsible (scil. for its production).
