6.6. Informal text/list

Description: Marble double column with flat panels on either side.

Text: Scratched on a flat panel within a roughly-shaped tabella ansata with handles at top and bottom (w: 0.32 × h: 0.54): i in the upper handle, ii in the tabella, iii in the lower handle.There are perhaps traces of letters above. Some letters have been roughly erased, and others overcut.

Letters: Irregular, perhaps in several hands, roughly 0.015; some diamond-shaped omicrons.

Date: ?Fourth century CE (lettering)

Findspot: Aphrodisias: Basilica: at the north-west side.
