5.14. Fl. Photios gives a gameboard

Description: A rectangular white marble statue base (w: 0.57 × h: 1.14 × d: 0.44) with moulded edge above and below on three sides.

Text: Inscribed on central panel with a board, type 3Rows.4 (w: 1.00 × h: 0.45) carefully cut: circles 0.03, central rosettes in circles 0.10; the text is inscribed on the lower moulding.

Letters: Av. 0.03; irregular: scroll and letter above line for abbreviations.

Date: Late fifth/sixth century. (titulature)

Findspot: Aphrodisias: Hadrianic Baths: Tetrastyle Court, lying beside the northern entrance.

Original location: Hadrianic Baths (?)
