Description: Corner fragment of an elaborately moulded feature, probably a sarcophagus front (w: 0.115 × h: 0.29 × d: 0.09).

Text: Inscribed on two adjacent faces; a, lines 1-2 on the upper moulding, line 10 on the lower moulding; b, line 1 on the upper moulding.

Letters: a: lines 1, 5f., 0.015; lines 2-4, 0.02; lunate sigma in line 1. b: line 1, 0.02; line 2, 0.022; line 3, 0.028; lines 4-5, 0.025.

Date: Second to third centuries CE (lettering)

Findspot: Aphrodisias: Bishop's Palace I, Stratum 1.
