Description: Two fragments, not joining, from a white marble balustrade/parapet rim (of the same kind as 1.12-1.16) with a smooth top, moulded front, rough back and lower edge (H. 0.145, D. 0.175; W.: a: 0.22; b: 0.20).

Text: Inscribed on upper rim.

Letters: 0.012-0.025; clearly but very irregularly cut; diaeretic dots on Ι.

Date: Fifth to seventh centuries CE (lettering)

Findspot: Aphrodisias: a. Temple/Church: East Temenos area, surface find during clearing; b. Acropolis
